Does not require injection of local anesthesia - Lidocaine 5% topical cream was used in clinical studies to obviate discomfort that kicks in about 1 hour post placement. Placement procedure is painless and there is no wait time required for cream to activate.
Most patients resume normal routine within 3 hours
Does not require cutting of live/healthy foreskin - foreskin is intact after placement
