A cross-sectional descriptive cost-analysis study conducted from August to October 2012 in Uganda. The study objective was to evaluate the relative reach and cost-effectiveness of PrePex compared to the current surgical male circumcision method; and to determine the effect that this might have in helping to achieve the Ugandan male circumcision targets.
A cross-sectional descriptive cost-analysis study conducted in Uganda during 2012, assessing the cost effectiveness of the PrePex device comparing to the surgical male circumcision method. PrePex is overall found to be cost-effective.
